Figure 25. The polar graph of the first human disturbance experiment.  Lizards were released in an area vegetated with small yellow lupine bushes.  We tracked their movements every 15 minutes for 24 hours, and found that although the lizards moved often, they did not move far, remaining under or around the bushes.  This could have indicated that lizards move less after eliminating vibration from foot traffic.
